The Boeing 727 first flew in 1963 and is a medium-haul airliner that can accommodate two pilots, flight engineer, and 189 passengers. It has a cruising speed of 622 mph (1001 kmh), range of 2370 nm (4392 km), and is powered by three Pratt & Whitney JT8D-9A turbofans with a thrust of 43,500 lb (193.5 kN). There were different variants such as the 727-100 and 727-200 airliners, also the cargo versions 727-100C & QC, and 727-200F. The last version was the 727-200, which was delivered in 1984. Over 1800 aircraft were built in total.
