The Pitts Viper is the latest version of the Curtis Pitts original. The unique paint scheme and aircraft styling is by Italian designer Mirco Pecorari with the aircraft being built by Jim Kimball Enterprises in collaboration with Wolf Aircraft and Barrett Precision Engines.
The aircraft modifications include:
The ailerons were built to nearly full wing span with 3 hinge locations
A new carbon fiber seat was installed
The elevator and rudder areas were increased and reshaped to fit with the Viper theme
2 piece carbon fiber cowl
The windshield was speed sloped
The fuselage belly was reshaped
