The SH-3H Sea King had a total production of 73, and introduced the up rated T58-GE-10 engines, AQS-13A sonar and APN-182 radar. Two SH-3Ds were converted to SH-3G’s to act as a general-purpose rescue platforms and transports. Removing the ASW equipment and installing 15 canvas seats and long-range fuel tanks were part of this modification.
