The C-12 Super Kin Air’s first example was delivered in 1979. Initial orders for these aircraft were 66, the Navy acquiring 49, and the Marines 17, delivery was completed by May 1982. There are a number of versions of the Super King Air that are used for a variety of tasks, including general-purpose light transport duties, battlefield surveillance, the acquisition of intelligence and electronic warfare.
